Making An LDS.org Account
Creating an LDS.org account will allow you to use
- New Family Search
- Roots Magic
- Personal account on LDS.org
- Personal account on Mormon.org
- Make Free Fan Charts from Tree Seek
- LDSTech
- LDSStore
- http://store.lds.org/
- (Personally check if you can get things for free off LDS.org)
- LDSjobs
- LDS Personal Video Conferencing - It's like Skype, but for Mormons
- LDS Institute and Seminary Resources (For Teachers And Administrators)
- etc.
To start making an LDS.org account, go to:
https://ldsaccount.lds.org/sign-in/go/login.jsf
Click on the [Register for an LDS Account] button which is near the bottom right side of the web page
There will be three options to choose from.
- Verify Membership Now
- Verify Membership Later
- Register as Friend
I personally don't know what [Verify Membership Later] and [Register as Friend] options all entail, but I do know what [Verify Membership Now] entails and I am really impressed by it.
What's needed for each option is listed below
If you want to know your Membership number, you can look on your Patriarchal Blessing, Temple Recommend Card, or you can ask your bishop, his counselors, or ward clerk.
If you need any more assistance, you can go to http://tech.lds.org/wiki/LDS_Account
