Quick way to scan through something for a name online
Press [Ctrl] and [F] on the keyboard at the same time
Then a box pops up at the bottom of the internet screen
Type in the name of the person you wish to find
Press [Enter] on the keyboard
And the name or name fragments will be highlighted on the screen
(and sometimes the computer will take you right directly to the name)
How to find your ancestors online
What you need to do is type the
________________ _____________ ____________ ______________
First Middle Last Date of Birth - Date of Death
On your favorite search engine online
If you can't find anything
First: Take out the person's middle name and search online
Second: If the person has a different last name, re-enter the person's middle
name, change his/her last name and search online
Third: Take out the person's middle name with the new last name and
search online
Fourth: Sometimes searching for the person's spouse, children, or parents
can give you a link or a source about the person you're looking for

Categorizing My Genealogy Lineage
For Girls, I Categorize them with a G
For Boys, I categorize them with a B
Since we are all Children of our Heavenly Father, might as well label the appropriate sex by a child view by the person.
For the Lineage line example:
Eric Scott Borgholthaus => Jeannette DuVall Borgholthaus => Joan LeFevre DuVall =>
B G G
Miriam Wood LeFevre => Eliza Whytock Wood
G G
This is the Lineage of my Great Great Grandma Eliza Whytock
[BGGGG] 5th Generation.
